I will fight for you because I care!
In these days of increasing conflict throughout our country, when our traditional values are being challenged like never before and our rights as citizens are being threatened by those who are supposed to protect them, I could not let our current representative go unchallenged.
That is why I decided to run for State Representative in legislative District 53. I want to be a part of a positive change in New Mexico!
Our district has many needs, such as improving education to keep kids in school and out of trouble. Better schools mean less crime, and a better workforce will attract more jobs and economic development. As a retired schoolteacher, I can advocate for our students, parents, and teachers and help reform our system from worst to first!
Earning my Master's Degree in Education and experience traveling the world as an Air Force wife for 22 years, along with my time in the school system and years of community service has prepared me to represent the people of District 53.
My opponent is running for his third consecutive term. In four years, he has done nothing to pave our roads, install new streetlights, or create jobs. Instead, he has voted to deny loans to low-income people, to deny job opportunities to disabled workers, and voted to allow the abortion of babies all the way up to birth. I have signed the Abortion Free New Mexico pledge.
You deserve a representative who will stand up for our values. That's why I'm running and that's why I need your vote!
